We are expecting a little boy. He will be named Tayven Gregory....
I need help with a nickname.. But nothing to do with the middle name only Tayven, Gregory is after my husband and I absolutely do not like it or Greg, or Greggie lol.. TIA
Tay is the only thing that comes to mind and I don't even like that for a nn. IMO, I don't think it is necessary to have a nn. If you feel that you absolutely need one then I would wait and see what nn comes natural after he is born.
Thanks, yeh I thought of Tay but then again I don't really like it as a Nn.. I could honestly go without giving him one myself, but the thing is my mom and the rest of my family would want to give him a nickname and I have already heard them mentioning Greg or Greggie and thats A big NO!
I don't really want my little boy stuck with the name Greg or Greggie.. I actually would love to give him a different middle name but I'm doing it for my hubby soo...
Why don't you wait till he gets here and let the nickname just come. I never understood picking a nickname before actually seeing or meeting the child. Let some things just happen. I don't see the major problem with Greg either, if you don't want them calling him a nn just say so, or deal with it if you don't see them that often.
I call Dillon my little turkey bird... nothing to do with his name, but IMO nn's shouldn't be planned - you should see what comes natural and what sticks.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Yeah, our Joseph isn't a Joe or a Joey. He's Monkey or Monk.
