so I have auburn hair with light red highlights ... I stopped highlighting my hair over a year ago and really like my natural color...BUT I have gray hairs and they drive me crazy, I pull them out, they are in my "part"...there really isn't a TON but enough...
So...what do you do about this? Just get highlights? Is there something that works better with gray hair??
I HATE them! Help!!

Other than doing all over color I can't think of anything else. I feel your pain, I have greys up front in my part too. Just a few but I hate them and always pull them out. I go the highlight route myself
this sounds like me!!! I have like 4 or 5 that always show up right at my center part and they drive me crazy because I think they are noticable (even though DH does not think they are that bad) but with that being said, I usually have to go back and get my hair highlighted or I pull them out
It's funny that you wrote this because I just saw a commercial today for nice and easy that helps touch up greys at the root and I actually thought about trying it.
Dosent sound like you have enough grey that you should have to deal with the maintenance of a single process. I would highlight, random and not heavy at all, in a bright gold-tone and then paint the grey's away in between the foils with a demi close to your natural color. This would brighten your natural, blend in the grey, but be pretty maintenance free.
If you want to avoid the salon and just get rid of the grey's, buy a root touch-up kit in a golden brown (most over the counter reds have to much violet) Use a stiff mascara brush and paint only a few hairs at a time, root to end. Less is more if you take this route. Your natural color sounds gorgeous!
