With siblings Max(well) and Eden? And, with a last name that starts with L. Is Lowell L. to many L's? It hasnt' been a problem with DS's name, though. But maybe Maxwell and Lowell are too similar?
I would have to say way too many L's, the L's on the end will run together with the L in your last name. Plus, I have a thing about first names and last names beginning with the same letter.
A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

Really? I've always liked it. My mom says it's a strong name when the FN and LN start with the same letters. Unfortunately, I don't like or can't use many names that start with L.

I just think it sounds sing songy. But that is just my thing, if people do it I don't think they are crazy or anything.

Of the 2, I'd go with Cooper, but I'm not a big fan.
Also, I think that Lowell and a last name starting with "L" will just run together.
However, if you're interested in using an "L" name due to the "strong" factor that your mom mentioned, how about:
Landon, Landry, Lawrence, Lennox, Leo, Liam, Logan, Lucas, or Lyndon
Good luck making a decision!

This. I also think that it's too many L's. I wouldnt do it.
Definitely too many L's with Lowell. Plus, when it's pronounced, it always sounds more like Low to me, not a fan.
Cooper is a good name.
This. And I've said 'Maxwell, Eden and Cooper' out loud and it sounds very well. With 'Maxwell, Eden, Lowell' Eden sounds kinda 'left out'. GL.

I'm not a big fan of either.
How about Landon if you like L names? It's not exactly my style either but I like it better than Lowell or Cooper.
