Evenflo Triumph Advance LX

If you have this carseat, what do you think of it?  How easy is it to remove the pad for cleaning, adjust the straps, recline in rear/forward facing positions, etc?  Thanks!

Re: Evenflo Triumph Advance LX

  • I have it but have never installed/uninstalled it.  DH has though and it seemed pretty damn easy when he did it.  We had to because DS1 had vomited.  Easy to clean but I don't really know about the rest of it.  I will say that DS2 is in it RF right now and while you still have access to the knob that tightens/loosens it is somewhat annoying as it is by the back of the seat (not the car seat).  FF on it though is a breeze.  And the annoyance is not big enough to cause me to hate the seat.  I really like it.

  • Overall we really like it.  My only complaint is that it's really big!

    Same with us!

  • We really like it.  With the knob it's really easy to get a perfect fit.  I've heard complaints about when it's RF it's hard to get access to the knob, but it all depends on your vehicle.
  • We have it as an extra for DH's car.  Overall, thumbs up.  DS seems very happy in there, DH says it's easy to install.  The only complaint I have is that when it's rear facing, it's a total PITA to adjust the straps because the knob is wedged into the seat.  Maybe not the case for all cars, but something to consider.  The Britax Boulevard we have in my car is 100x easier to adjust.
