I have the lansinoh double electric pump and used it for about 10 months with DD. Towards the end of the 10 months I had to have it replaced because the suction was barely working. It wasn't the motor but the little plastic pieces that fill with air and then squeeze in (I think they're called the diaphragms) weren't working. They need to completely expand and then deflate in order to create a good suction and they were barely expanding and filling with air. Lansinoh sent me a new pump and it worked a little better but I noticed the same problem.
I just got out the pump again in preparations for DS
and cleaned it all out and turned it on to make sure it was working and
I noticed the diaphragms are barely opening/closing still! This pump
is pretty much brand new!
Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks!
