Anyone have a Singer 9410?

I just had a local sewing instructor pick up some curtains to hem for me.  She teaches sewing @ a local middle school and does instruction in her home as well.  She is selling one of her machines, a Singer 9410 for $225.

I have an older Singer I have never been able to figure out (she doesn't know how to use it either) it's a Futura II, anyway- I would love to be able to just do hemming and make some simple things, but w/o a machine it's not possible.   

I will google around for reviews and prices, but wanted to know if anyone had any first hand info w/ these machines?
