S/O themes: what goes well with a bbq party?

Can't figure out what fits a bbq party. Everything feels random paired with bbq.

    I really don't think themes are necessary, but I think you could do anything.

    Picnic theme with ants. Hello, Cupcake makes a cute corn on the cob cupcake. I have made them and they are really cute and easy. Also, random bugs would be cute for a BBQ.

    what about farm? since I think bbq=ribs=pigs? =) or I like the luau.. that could be cute and girly.

    fwiw, we're doing bbq/grilling for B's bday, and I think I am doing the very hungry caterpillar for a theme.. not going to match the food to theme..

    I like luau. Or you could do a flowery/garden/ladybug thing since it will be outside.

    Yep I like these ideas. Either luau or garden party.

    Or maybe like barnyard..haha that would match with the BBQ in a kinda morbit way!
