A lot of years and a million tears finally led me to you.
After 7 years trying to concieve, 3 failed IUIs and 2 failed IVFs, my third IVF was a success!
My Christmas baby turned into a turkey bird! Dillon Richard was born at 34 weeks, 5 days on November 28, 2009 after 10 weeks on bedrest for preeclampsia.

I new a sh*t ton of Rhians and Rhiannes when I lived in Wales, and EVERY.SINGLE.ONE pronounced it REE-en / REE-un.
I would pronounce it REE-un.
RYE-un = big thumbs down
Exactly this. Except I've never lived in Wales, hehe. But every Rhiann I've ever met or heard of pronounces it Rhiann. Also, based on pronunciation rules in the Welsh language, it's the only pronunciation that makes sense.
It is a welsh name pronoucned Ree an- but I think here in the us everyone would say Ryan. If you want a girl named Ryan just make it easy on her and go with the traditional spelling. Getting creative with the spelling doesn't make it sound any more feminine.
Thanks for the replies ladies! His reasoning is that Rian is the actual Gaelic spelling of 'Ryan' and adding the H made it feminine. But Rian/Ryan is actually an unisex Gaelic name, so I don't get the big damn deal. I personally want Rhiannon, which should satisfy him, lol.
my name is rhian and i pronounce it REE-ARN, people always comment how pretty it is but i constantly get called REE-UN (which I hate), REE-ANNE (which i hate even more!), Rhiannon, rhianna, and worst of them all is RYAN

REE-ANN for sure!
Like it's been said by others...it's just like Rhianna without the last UH to it
Yep. This. Like Rhianna the singer
I'd say Ryan.
I also know several girls named Ryan.

I would pronounce it as FAIL.
Just spell in a way that makes sense.
