Austin Babies

my child has been possessed by the devil

I don't know if it's teething (probably) or she's just turning into a little hellion (equally likely) but she has been a handful the last couple days.

Between the crying/screaming for no reason, loss of appetite, fighting naps/bedtime, crawling all over the house, clinginess, waking up every 3-4 hours at night.....whew.  Momma's tired.

At least she doesn't have a fever, right?

  • well, all I gotta say is: take a nap when she ever does.  it's the weekend, can't be all sleepy, if YKWIM.  ;)

  • Probably is teething, but also just wanted to throw this out there - when DS was about 9-10 months, he went through a phase of being pretty bratty.  Throwing tantrums, screaming, etc and we chalked it up to him being frustrated about not being able to communicate, and us not knowing what he wanted.  We kept on with the signing, and within a month or two, the tantrums subsided (well, until he became a toddler) and he had a sign language explosion.  Hang in there!
  • Kind of a bummer your H is out of town when she's cranky and you don't get fabulous happy time the whole time he's gone.  I guess maybe the upside is you don't have to deal with him when she's cranky too. :)

  • I refuse to believe something THAT cute could be even remotely devilish.  Sorry.

  • Ahhh, join the club! DS was miserable for about a month or so at around 9-10 months and now at 14 months its back and I am going to lose my mind!

Do you want to run away to a deserted island together and when our LO's are over it we can go home?
