Anyone else feel weird now? PG ment.

After seeing the post earlier about the woman who stole another user's FB pics and pretended to be PG (going as far as posting on the Miscarriage/PG Loss board from losing one her triplets), I am suddenly very nervous about someone pulling that on our board.

I guess it just reminded me how easy it is for someone to lie to you and that people are sick I've felt funny every since ready that whole mess.

kmarino... you better make sure she doesnt try to "steal" your adorable twins... i would have to throat punch her.

I hear you there! The whole thing is just freaking creepy as can be. It also makes me glad all my FB stuff is private. You have to be a friend to view ANYTHING.

I am not really nervous for it to happen on our board, but OMG, how crazy is that lady? Then she apologized saying she did it because she just lost a baby or something.....that's how you deal with your grief? Whatever, she is beyond nuts! The interwebz can be a scary place sometimes.

If someone is BSC enough to post like that on a board for women dealing with pregnancy loss saying she lost a triplet, then why not on the IF board?

I have been trying to follow all the posts about that girl and I am still so confused, but that is pure craziness there.

I think someone could come here and fake it if they wanted to but I think you'd probably have to know a lot about IF.  And while I guess I wish we were all worth emulating, being pregnant (especially with twins/triplets like this girl was saying) is much more glamorous and pregnancy loss garners more sympathy (naturally) so I bet those are the ways most trolls go when they're needing some attention. That girl was sick sick sick.

I think it is very possible that something like that could happen on this board/SAIF...in fact, I wouldn't be surprised if it has happened (to some degree) in the past.

While she is obviously messed up in the head I'm not going to worry about it.  This is a public message board afterall and you kind of have to assume that some of the people posting on these boards are fakes or at least I do.  People lie all the time, for whatever reason, but I am certainly not going to change my life or worry about it.  If I give support to some faker out there maybe they needed it and while they shouldn't be here it doesn't really hurt me if they are, nor does it hurt me to give them support.  I guess I just don't really see the point in letting someone else or their bad choices have so much control over your life.

Not sure why I feel that way, I guess it has to do with the fact that not many women post their preg. stats on here. And faking IF....it doesn't seem like one would need to go to the same lengths (pics, etc) as this crazy did w/ a preg.

Also, it might stem from the fact that I am super anal about my personal info, so I don't worry as much because I don't put that stuff out there.

I believe she is alluding to a woman who got preg. w/HOM and has recently returned after losing them. I could be wrong though...............
