if so, or if you have something similar, do you like it?  i know the quality isn't stellar but we are apartment dwellers and not looking to drop serious money on furniture:)  tia!

We did something similar, but on a grander scale by doing a whole wall with the similar Besta system...DH did a lot of modifications to make it built-in which took a long time, but was worth the effort.  We love it and it doesn't look cheap at all. 

Oh, and our TV is on a swivel which is the best part IMO because I can turn it toward the kitchen and watch the food network while I prep dinner.

We don't have that one, but our TV stand is from Ikea and we love it. There's other things we've bought there that are not great (dressers in particular), but the TV stand is awesome. Probably our best Ikea purchase.

is it wood, gramy? or particle board. the particle board stuff is usually crapola. the wood - stellar.
