Progesterone Suppositorie Question... maybe TMI

Just wondering if anyone else had problems with the progesterone suppositiories and their...umm..insertion.  Everytime I put them in, it seems to have quite a bit left in the applicator when I pull it out.  It just leaves a bunch that's all dissolved so I am always concerned that I didn't get the full medication in.   I can't believe I am saying this but I kind of want to go back to the PIO.

Anyone else ever have this problem or have any ideas as to what I can do so it doesn't dissolve the moment it enters?   Thanks!

Are we talking crinone? It is hard to get all if it out but there is overfill so your supposed to get enough with a little squeeze. I still try to get out as much as I can.

You got an applicator?? I had to shove these little gel tabs up my vag and once they melted it seemed like NONE of it stayed in there.

They are the Progesterone capsules.  It seems like the coating is super thin so it dissolves soooo fast.

Maybe they can switch you to Crinone or Endometrin? In the meantime I would lay down for a little while after putting it in if it falls apart that easily.

I had no idea that the applicator was a 'blessing' until people started telling me they never got one either. :-) But honestly, I'm not even sure if I want to use it anymore. LOL

Thanks! I'll try that!  Then ask about the cronine.  Silly question but is that a capsule too?

this! Endometrin is messy in it's own way, but I don't have issues like what you describe. Maybe you can switch?

I had the same problem, so I stopped using the applicator. I also try to lay down after inserting. Good luck!
