How to store Prune puree?

I read on wholesomebabyfood that prune puree will not freeze into a solid block, so how do you store it?

Mine froze just fine.  It is absolutely solid.

Mine froze too, but it was from a jar. I believe there is water added.

I froze mine in ice cube trays just like everything else.  It's definitely solid, but feels a bit different than other frozen puree.  

ETA: I did add some water that I used to steam them with.
