after your natural mc? I mc'd on Monday and had two curettages (I'm sure that's not gramatically correct) performed that day. Both times the docs pulled a ton of tissue out (sorry tmi). My OB did the first curretage and got so much she thought she got about all of it. I ended up in the ER later that night and the on-call OB came and did it again and got just as much crap out. She then did a u/s to decide if there was enough remaining tissue to do a d&c. Looked like only about 2 cms of blood remaining. She gave me a supository (again, sorry tmi) to induce stronger contractions and push the rest out. I was thinking/hoping that by now it would have all passed ... Not the case. Still bleeding (af like) and passing smaller clots. Just wondering how long others bled after their natural mc's??

I bleed for a week for my natural m/c.

I'm sorry for your loss and there is no such thing as TMI here.  I had a natural m/c and my bleeding lasted about 2 weeks.  It would start and stop the last week, slowed down to spotting then just quit.  I got AF about 4 1/2 weeks after my m/c.  Hope this helps?  ((HUGS))

I'm so sorry for your loss.  I had an early natural mc at 6w and bled heavily for about 2-3 days then medium-light bleeding for about 4-5 days.

Missed m/c #1-given Cyotec-bled for 3.5 weeks

Natural m/c #1-bled for about 2 weeks

Natural m/c #2-bled for about 2 weeks

Missed m/c #2-D&C-bled on and off for about 4 week or so.

I bled for a long time.  Heavy for 3-4 days, moderate for 4-5 days and then I spotted regularly for a week and intermittently for a week.  I felt like it was never going to end, but it finally did.

What is curetage? M/C #1 - the whole thing lasted 2 weeks. M/C #2 - it' been about 2.5 weeks since it was confirmed, Ive been bleeding mod-heavy for about 1 week.

So far, it's been 2 weeks for me after a natural m/c and I'm still having very light brown spotting...enough to still wear a pad.
