Something to do Saturday (daytime)?

My birthday is Saturday and DH and I don't really have any plans. We are coming to Austin because we need to have our jewelry inspected, but other than that - not sure what to do.

We live an hour north of Austin so I don't know what is going on/if anything this weekend... Any events happening you know of? Is there a specific park that would be nice for us to enjoy?

I don't want to do the run-of-the-mill mall shopping all day.

I don't know of any events, but how about a tour of all of the cupacke shops around town? MrsPurdue did one and I have been wanting to do that ever since she talked about it.

Next weekend there is an art festival!

This weekend, the Old Settler's Music Fest is nearby. The Austin Reggae Fest is at Auditorium Shores. There's also a UT vs Arkansas track meet that sounds pretty cool.

I'm sorry!  (((hugs)))  My first 3 rounds of injectables were a fail.  May I recommend the Coach outlet store.  It always made me feel better.
