Okay, I'd like your honest opinions...do you think of Riley as a boy or girl name? (I'm not going to to tell you which gender we're thinking of using it for so I can get unbiased feedback) Thanks!

I like it for both. However my husband thinks it is just a boys name. We are having a girl and I offered Riley as a suggestion but he said NO. There was a show 'Dead like me' and the youngest sister was named Riley and I liked it. I also tend to like boy names for girls though. I say both, my husband says boy.
Since it has become a FN (I think it is best suited as a LN), I think it is a boy's name. That being said, I know a lot of little girls named Riley and not one boy named Riley.
Im sure a lot of people will disagree with me but I like it spelled Riley for boy and Rileigh for a girl. I think it is prettier and on paper nobody would confuse her for a boy.

I don't take one single minute for granted.
I wish it would have stayed a boy name, but I have to say I think of it as pretty unisex now. I know both girls and boys named Riley.
Riley was my Irish FIL's middle name. We decided to use it as a middle name (rather than first) for DS2, because it is just way too popular with girls right now. So we have a Jacob Riley

I only know boys named Riley, so.. boy.
Edit: I just remember my coworker has twin girls named Riley and Ramsey (IMO they are both boy names, though). My opinion still stands.

I think of it as a last name.
both...but it is our #1 Boys name...
i kind of think of it as Jamie or Kelly or Erin...depending on the spelling i think it is perfectly find for a boy or a girl.
but that could be just me!
Rylee=Girl
Riley=Boy
I honestly like it for either.. and I know one girl and one boy so can't really decide
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.

Its a unisex name. Personally, I love unisex names for girls, I really dislike unisex names for boys. (except for Sam, I like Sam better for a boy..)
IMO, A girl with a "boys name" is edgey and cool, a boy with a "girls name" is a sissy.
That being said, I would only consider Riley for a girl (but I would spell it Rylee or Ryleigh).
