Re: snap and go

  • I'm getting the snap n go for now, and I'm not actually registering for another one. I figured after baby comes and is a bit older, then I'll have a better idea of what our lifestyle is like and get an appropriate one at that point. And I can also take baby to the store with me to try them out and see which he's most comfortable in.

  • i love my snap and go!!! i found it on clearance at target for 18.00 and i def got my moneys worth!!! i still use it now i keep the snap and go and stroller in my car. its great when i want to run in and out of a store!!

i do have a travel system but i hate it the stroller is tooo heavy and bulky so i dont use it and im actually selling it. i replaced it with a city mini

i got the graco snap and go and i have a graco seat. you can go to buybuybaby and see which one your carseat fits better in. babytrend one is pretty popular.

  • I had the Graco Snugrider stroller frame, then I also registered for a Combi EX lightweight stroller.  We bought ourselves a Bugaboo Frog.

I'd say we used the snugride frame for 2 months, then I started using the Frog on flat recline.

  • Once we can no longer use the Snap and Go, we registered for and received a Maclaren Quest Sport. I like it because it's lightweight, reclines despite being an umbrella stroller, has a higher height/weight limit than other strollers and durability; I have friends who have been able to use them with several children and I hope to use this stroller until well into their toddler years. I have heard good things about the Uppa Baby G-Luxe as well and it costs a bit less than the Maclaren @ $159; the Quest Sport is $229.99

  • I plan on registering this weekend, but based on several mommy recommendations this is what I think I will register for:

Car Seat- Chicco Keyfit 30 (highest rated in Baby Bargains and Consumer Reports for safety)

    Babytrend Snap and Go

Baby Jogger City Mini- came highly recommended by 2 mothers and scores high marks in baby books for being light weight and one of the easiest folding models available.  It isn't a "jogger" with a fixed third wheel.  However, my friend who has it actually uses it as a jogger and it is durable to take on trails for walks.

  • My friend picked up a SNG for $20 from a consignment sale for me.
We are getting the City Mini as our main stroller (will also get the carseat adaptor) so we can use either the SNG or the mini as we choose.
  • We registered for a snap and go to use with the Peg Perego car seat my aunt is giving us. After LO outgrows that we plan on using the Safety First Aerolite Deluxe LX, it's only $150 and out of all the strollers we tried this was by far our favorite! It's very easy to maneuver, it's lightweight and it folds with one hand!

  • With DS #1, we used a Snap N Go and then once he was out of his infant seat, we got a Peg Perego Aria stroller and love it.
