How long til a tooth pops?

LO has been drooling, chomping on everything, fussy, feverish off and on, and having nasty poop multiple times a day for the past 2 weeks.  How long does it take for a tooth to pop out?  And how long does 'teething' last?  I cant feel anything different in her mouth.

About 2 wks! It took forever! Then I finally felt a little tiny sharp corner of a tooth one day! Now there are two on the bottom but they have only come up mm! You can barely see them! No idea how long it will take until they are all the way up!

We have a long way to go with this! Sigh....

DD has been going through those phases since she was about 4 months old. I've been so sure a tooth will pop through, and then...nothing. There is so much individual difference. For some babies they start teething and have a tooth cut through within the week, and for others it takes months.
