Quick (long) Update!

So by now you may or may not know, our baby girl has arrived!

Madeline Josephine was born on 4/11/10 at 4:27 pm - 7.5lbs and 20". Her actual due date - quite the timely girl!

Labor started around 6:40am on 4/10. Around 11am I went into the triage area of SSW for fetal monitoring and to make sure I was really in labor. Even though I was having the properly timed contractions, my water wasn't broken and I still had the "stork cork" and was sitting around 1cm and 80% effaced. Around 3pm they sent me home since nothing was changing.

 Two hours later the contractions were 3 minutes apart and lasting about 1 minute, so we went back to the hospital around 5pm and was finally truly admitted around 8pm.

Long story short, I was in labor for 34 hours total - 26 of them without the epidural.

We came home yesterday and couldn't be happier. I have a few photos below, but will have better ones later! :)
