Sterilizing sippy cups

I guess I'm still in bottle mode because I was prepared to boil the sippy cups until I read specifically "do not boil". (Tommee tippee)  I just washed them in warm soapy water.  Is that really all I need to do?  Did you do anything special with yours?

I just run them through the dishwasher, same as with bottles. I've handwashed them too, when the dishwasher was full. I only sterilized bottles the first time, though. I don't think anything needs to be sterilized all the time at home.
