Ok, I'm getting to the final stage of narrowing down my decision. So, based on pronunciation alone (these are NOT the spellings!), which do you prefer?
I think EE-vayin is my favourite as well... just not 100% sure yet.
By the way, it's spelled Aoibh?ann. EE-van is the same, but without the fada (accent), and EE-veen is Aoibh?n.
I still love Aodhamair and I haven't given up on it totally yet... I do like Aoibh?ann a bit more, but I'm afraid she's going to get lots of Eve/Evie sounding nicknames, which I think are cute, but I'm not sure how I feel about my daughter being called that, it's not something I'm in love with.
But if I don't use Aodhamair for this LO, it'll definitely be at the top of my list if I have another girl!
And no... my last name is not Braun. It's nothing even vaguely similar to Braun. If it was, I'd already be very careful of that!
Re: Irish Girl's Name- final decision!
I like EE-veen, as EE-van seems too much like Evan to me.
EE-Vayin sounds like it could be cute, I'm just not totally sure what it would sound like (I'm not familiar with the name, sorry)
