If you swaddle...

you should look into getting a woombie! We bought one for LO as a friend of ours recommended it and LO loves it! It's easier to get him into it than the other swaddle wraps with the velcro and he can't break free in it. I like that he still has some freedom to move his arms if he wants too and that the material stretches so easily. I'm hoping this will help transition him into not being swaddled a little easier. Def. worth the $25 in my mind

I think I might have to get this...DD is seriously a Houdini.  I have the SummerMe Swaddle Wraps and Miracle Blanket and she escapes from both of those!  I just wish I hadn't spent the money on all those first!!

I say the same this about my baby girl. I don't use any helpers for swaddling, I just get blankets which is probably the reason. But I like the cheap target blankets we get.

DS always wakes up with at least one hand out and by his head.  The best I have found are the Aden and Anais muslin blankets.  They are kinda stretchy so you can get those arms down good and tight.  Once he breaks out of that in the middle of the night I usually change his diaper and put him in the summer infant swaddle me and he's good to go until the morning.

I do the no escape swaddle and then either put a swaddle me on top or a receiving blanket.  It works great for us!
