Accepted Referral!

We just went on our agency's waiting list about 2-3 weeks ago. The wait was supposed to be 4-10 months and in fact, they just increased wait times for infant girls! However, we were #1 (out of 50+ families) that was open to a boy who would be just over 3 at placement. Anyways, long story short. We received a referral and after many discussions and meeting with a pediatrician today who treats many internationally adopted children, we decided to accept the referral! He's amazing in every way! I find myself just staring at him and reading his medical reports and information over and over again. I think I have memorized every number in his bloodwork haha

We do not think we will get a court date before mid-May so we are still planning on the 2 trips to Ethiopia. Our case manager said we will most likely travel for the first time in June or July. I'm excited, nervous, scared, and freaked out.
