Update on Mammogram

While getting a baseline mammogram two weeks ago they found a suspicious 7mm nodule.  The biopsy was last Thursday, and Dr called with  the result yesterday morning.  Noncancerous!  Apparently it was just a ruptured cyst.    I really didn't think I had a problem, (no family history) but I was on BCP for 12 yrs and frankly my luck just isn't that great. 

 IVF meds were ordered immediately after I got my biopsy results and just in time for AF to show.  Way to soon!  I guess the stress of everything brought the witch on early.  Hopefully having such a short cycle this past month won't negatively impact my IVF cycle.  I go in tomorrow for my CD3 baseline Ultrasound and BW.

OMG the box of meds is overwhelming! 

 

TTC #1 since 9/07
Dx MFI, AMA, Endo, AMH .16
Lap 10/09 Removed endometrioma, stage IV endo and adhesions
Lap 2/10 Endometrioma cysts & adhesions returned.
Ivf #1 4/10 Antagonist, ET Cancelled.
IVF #2 2/11 A/ACP+E2V C/P
IVF #3 6/11 Letrozole/Antagonist BFN
IVF #4 11/11 Low stim Antagonist BFN
Lap 3/12 Lap & Selective HSG
Many cycles of Letrozole and LP HCG w/TI and LDN
IVF #5 8/12 Low stim BFN
IUI #1 10/12 BFN br> S&PAIFW

    That's great news!  So happy it was just a cyst and you are on for IVF.  Best of luck to you.

    So glad it was non-cancerous. yea, the meds are kind of overwhelming.

    That is so great!  Thanks for keeping us updated.  Scary situation for any woman, but so good to hear it is nothing serious.  Good luck with this cycle!
    I give up trying to get a ticker.  I have a DD that is 2.5 years old and is awesome.  Maybe I'll add a quote to distinguish myself.  Hmmm.  How about...

    I'm so glad everything turned out ok.  I've had several biopsies myself, so I know the stress and worry they bring while waiting for results.   Good luck with your IVF...I hope to be getting started myself next week!
