i just want to tell my secret...

In February my husband and I officially decided to start trying to have a baby sooner than we planned, and officially trying this month. I feel like every since we decided a couple months ago that I have been keeping the BIGGEST secret ever from my family and friends. I have a goup of girls I'm very close with, along with my immediate family and my husbands mom and sister. I don't want to tell anyone though because after lurking around  these boards trying to gather some info I know it's not always an immediate thing and I don't want people asking me all the time no matter how close I am to them. That said....I'm BURSTING to tell!!!

I am the worst about keeping secrets so this is me trying to anyone just to get it out!! Hopefully this does the trick! Now it's out there on the internet for the whole world to read!

My DH said he doesn't want to tell anyone because he wants it to be a surprise but I just couldn't hold it in!!!  My best friend and I jokingly and a little tipsy one night made a "pregnancy pact" that we would get preggers together...I know that is so not likely to happen but it was funny and made us giddy at the time...so I just HAD to tell her that something may be in the works...Im also the kind of person who needs someone to talk to about stuff besides my DH (I dont think he understand girlie stuff sometimes) so I decided to let her know.  I trust her not to say a word and know I can count on her for advice! Plus I think she already suspected something was up anyways!

 I think it is up to you on if you tell anyone.  I just can't hold it in so I had to blab to one person otherwise one day I was going to blab to EVERYONE!

I'm totally with you here! I quit BCP in February and this is our first month to officially try - it is so hard to not talk about it cause we aren't telling anyone either. I am the type who has to research everything so now I'm constantly reading TTC articles, boards, etc to keep me from telling everyone what we're up to!

Good luck!  This is technically our first cycle, too.  We've decided not to tell anyone, either, but I'm a big mouth and tell my mom everything   Hope your journey is short and sweet!

I'm in the same boat. Family can by very cynical about our decisions. They always tell us "it's not a good time". After having my DD and now 7 years later, I've realized NEVER is a good time and I can't make anybody happy but me lol...GL and happy humping!

I understand the feeling. My hubby and I talked about my going off the meds which was a sure indicator to my family we were going to try to have a kid sometime soon but we never brought it up again until we made the big announcement.

Part of me wanted to talk about it but part of me also didn't want to have to explain every month why we weren't preggers. That emotional strain I could not have handled.
