I really like the name Harper and I always want the middle name to "mean" something or come from a family name.  DH's middle name is Andrew and my middle name is Marlee.  We decided on the middle name Anlee (being both of our middle names together)  Do you think that the name Harper Anlee sound good?

Very cute, I love the name Harper for a girl. Anlee is cute as a mn.

I just can't get on board with Harper. It sounds so masculine to me and reminds me of when you "harp" on someone or a harpoon- plus your DD is named Lily, a pretty and very feminine name. Sorry, NMS at all.

harper is nms but it's a name. i do not like anlee or any other made up name, sorry.

i also think that since harper ends with an -er sound, a middle name that begins with a consonant sound would be best. it runs together, sounding like harperanlee.
