I was 26 with #1 and will be 28 with this one.

 NO one I graduated high school with has had a kid and only a couple others are married, so they all think I'm nuts.

Same with my friends from college, a couple are married but none have had any kids.

I was 20 when I had DS, I'm 23 now with DD. Only time I've ever been told I was too young is by people who don't know me well. DH is older so I think he balances my youth out lol.

lol don't feel odd, I was 15 when I got pregnant for the first time. She didn't make it, though. If she had I would have an 8 year old now...crazyness!

This is our first child. I am 20 (turned 20 a month after getting pg) and my husband just turned 31.

Age is just a number, maturity is what matters. I left home, joined the military and was "out on my own" at 17.

DH and I got engaged in Sept. 08, started trying for a baby (since I was told I would have a hard time conceiving), got married in Dec. 08, and then got pregnant in Aug. 09!

Personally, I wanted kids younger, but wasn't in a good place to have them (no house, still paying off school loans, with a guy who wasn't great).

Now that I'm almost 30, I feel there's still so much I want to do with my life.

There really is no 'perfect' age.  That said, I'm so thankful I had my 20s to be a little crazy and travel.
