I have read about a bunch of LOs who snack on this...do you serve the frozen shelled variety? I just tried it with DS and FAIL! Anything I could season it with so I don't waste the $3.50 I spent on it since I don't like it either
I like the kind still in the pod but if you buy them like that, you'll have to get the beans out yourself so I guess I'd get the kind that are shelled for your LO.

We eat a lot of it! I salt the water it's cooked in and then toss them with a bit more salt when they're drained and dry. We eat them straight from the pod, though I have seen a few recipes that call for the shelled version mixed with other things--corn, red onion, salt and pepper is one that I recall.
