Well... today I bought Canada Dry Green Tea Gingerale!!!!! OMG - so good. You could add gingerale to yours! (or just buy this stuff at the store)... Although, if you get the natural gingerale from Trader Joes, then it is HFCS (High Fructose corn syrup free) and then add it to your tea - then it will be natural and HFCS free too!
Did you buy just straight green tea? I buy Celestial Seasonings' flavored tea bags. My current favorites are Green Tea Blueberry and Green Tea w/ Acai and Pomegranate.
I did, and I think thats why I don't love it.

Make sure you don't over steep your green tea- it can overcook and that is not tasty. It gets 1min of brew time and then back out of the hot water. It should be pretty mild - not especially bitter or strong- as long as you're not letting it brew as long as black or white tea.
I have a couple teapots with strainers- I just make a pot full and add my 2-3 teaspoons (depending on size of the pot) of loose tea to the strainer and if I'm feeling especially adventurous- I'll add either peppermint to the strainer or fruit tea to the pot (since it's big chunks and can steep for as long as it likes while I work through the pot) and work on a pot all evening.

I'm a total snob about all things coffee/tea. I'm pretty exclusive to my Tazo Zen tea. Its green tea with spearmint, and it has a few other ingredients thrown in there as well (like lemon grass). Its sweet and flavorful and earthy all in one. Hot I drink it straight. In the summer time I'll brew it strong, ice it down, and mix it with apple juice. Sounds strange but its really refreshing!
