Not ttc yet but looking at some French girl names and came across this one. I think I really like it but am having reservations in that it rhymes with "orally"...I could see some dirty jokes coming about because of this

    When you are pronouncing Coraline are you doing Cora-line or Cora-lean? I'm not sure what be the French pronunciation as I do think that's a French name....

    And yes, I love the nicknames too :)

  • The French pronounciation is Cora-lynn.  Since I'm French, my instinct is to say it that way, but I know that's not necessarily correct in English.

    BTW - I LOVE Coralie!
