March for Babies walk

Is anyone giving out anything at the walk?  I want to give out thank you cards to everyone that is walking on our team (maybe with McKenna's foot print stamped in them).  I was also thinking of bringing some bubbles and giving them to the little ones walking with us.

I kind of want to include something else with the thank you card too...either some info on preemies, or a preemie poem, not really too sure.  Some of the people on our team haven't even met McKenna let alone know anything about preemies, so I want to take the chance to spread the awareness too.

Should I wait until the end of the walk to pass this stuff out so people don't have to carry it around?

Are you giving anything out or have any other ideas for me?

    I unfortunatly can't do the walk because I started a new job and I'm sched to work that day. I felt bad requesting off already. But I do have an idea for you. On the March of Dimes website you can purchase those rubber wrist bands that say Fight for Premies on them. We bought them (the money acts as a donation) and gave them out to family and friends.

    Thanks! That is a great idea.  I just noticed our tickers have the same age on them...August 1st?

    One of my fundraising strategies was to  say I'd dye my hair purple if we meet our goal...it's looking like we will, so I'm planning to take a pic of me w/my hair, DD, and DH and include it in a thank you card to all our donors. I'm also making our shirts by hand and will write "Thanks X!" for each of the donors on the back of mine.

    I had team shirts made that I'm going to give out to all our walkers at the event. They have our team name on the front and "Lace up your sneakers for our 25 weekers!" on the back, plus a little info on Charlie, Lily and Annaleigh.

    After the walk I plan to send thank you notes to everyone who participated.
