Dutailier Reclining Multiposition Chair 854 Glider
We just got ours yesterday but there was no information with it. There
is a lever on one side which I realized locks the chair but what does
the round knob on the other side do?? I turned it but I don't see any
differences

We have a different style, but on ours you have to turn the knob all the way to get the chair to recline.
ETA: also, turning the knob just releases the chair so that you can lean back in it to make it recline. I think it's a funny mechanism and I just leave it all the way released (even though mine came with directions that say to turn it all the way back to lock it before you get out... I think it's a CYA though)
