Window's Movie Maker

Does anyone use this?

I am trying to load music into it. Dande helped me do it a couple of days ago and it worked. I used itunes which uses mp4's and I had to switch them to mp3's. It worked a couple of days ago, but I tried adding a couple more songs and I cannot get it to work. I am about to lose my mind!

There has to be another way to load music into it. I tried adding songs from some cd's that I have, but Window's Movie Maker didn't support the files.

Any ideas on what else I can do? This slide show has to be finished by thursday and all I need are 3 more songs.

TIA!

    I found this.

    Instructions
    1. Step 1

Open iTunes. Click "Edit" on the top navigation toolbar then choose "Preferences." A dialog window will open.

    2. Step 2

Choose the "General" tab and click the "Import Settings" button in the middle of the window. The "Import Using" window will pop up.

    3. Step 3

Use the pull-down menu in the new window to pick the file type to which you'd like to convert your songs. AIFF and WAV will maintain the highest quality while MP3 will take up the least amount of storage. All three formats are recognized by Windows Movie Makerimage.

    4. Step 4

Click "OK" in each of the two open windows.

    5. Step 5

Select the songs in iTunes you'd like to import to Movie Maker then click "Advanced" on the top navigation toolbar. Choose "Create MP3 version," "Create WAV version" or "Create AIFF version," corresponding with the file type you chose in Step 3.

    6. Step 6

Open Windows Movie Maker and click on "Audio or Music" on the "Import" task menu on the left side of the screen.

    7. Step 7

Navigate to the iTunes folder on your hard drive and select the song or songs you'd like to import. Click the "Import" button. Your song or songs will now appear on the center palette in Movie Maker.

I hope it works for you, too. I could not believe it was this easy!
  • Thank you so much! I will give it a try when the girls are in bed! Yay! :)
