We're considering it for the middle name. Rhymes with Kayla.  No, we didn't make it up, it's Hebrew.

NMS.  My MIL's Hebrew (not English) name is Bayla Chaya and she was made fun of as a kid (bale of hay).

It may be Hebrew, but it sounds made up or that you came from Boston with a thick accent and are trying to pronounce Baylor. 

In other words, I don't like it.

It doesn't look like a pretty name.  There are far prettier Hebrew names than this one.

It's not bad, kind of pretty, but unless it has some specific significance for you, I think there are much prettier Hebrew names.

This is my nickname.  My brother couldn't pronounce my name as a child and this is what came out and what he called me.  It has stuck and now my whole family calls me this.  I thought about this name for my daughter (if we had one, not pg now) but can't decide.
