So I've been trying to decide which breast pump to get and I was going with the Medela Advanced all the way since that was the one everyone seemed to talk about and the only one I've really heard of. Before purchasing it yesterday, I decided to do some research and it seemed like the Ameda Purely Yours got much better over all reviews and it was a bit cheaper, so I decided to get that one with the backpack. Does anyone else have this one? What do you think?
Re: Ameda vs Medela
I'm leaning toward the Ameda Purely Yours just in the tote bag, not the backpack. I found it for $180 with free shipping on ebay (new). The Ameda is a lot less known, but everything I've read on it makes me think it's a better deal. Plus, there's no chance for milk to back up into the motor with the Amedas, but it's a possibility with the Medelas.
I think this question gets asked pretty often over on the Breastfeeding board. You could look there for opinions too.
