Planning a trip to Orlando in July so...very hot.
a- spend a half day at one of the Disney parks, then have DS picked up and you and DH stay for the rest of the day
b-drive an hour to the beach, stay for a few hours, and drive back home
c- spend an entire day at Sea World
d- spend $26/ per person (you and DH) to eat at a breakfast buffet so that you could get pictures of DS with the Disney characters (Chef Mickeys)
e- ss-recommend something else!
Re: Which of these would you do with a 10 mo old?
1 - picked upu by who?
b - sounds good
c - an entire day anywhere is too long for me
d - I would have no interest in that. But I am not a disney person.
by family we are visiting
I would just go to the beach if you are looking to do something with a 10 month old....Disney is not for little babies...not even the character breakfast.
I don't know if either of my kids would have gotten very much from theme parks at 10 months. We went to Seaworld when TB was about a year, but only because ML was older. At 10 months they wouldn't be able to ride any of the rides or really enjoy the shows (I don't think)? Disney tickets for a single day are *not* cheap, and I'd probably save it for a longer trip (because per day it's much cheaper the longer you stay) when the kid(s) are older.
I'd probably do the beach.
I'm not exactly going to answer your question, but I will tell you this. DH and I DROVE down to FL from IL when DS was 10 months old. We did Sea World for a day, Magic Kingdom another day, and Epcot another day. DS loved it ALL!! He rode every ride with us (except three... we had friends there at the same time who also had a 10 month old) and loved them. He LOVED the characters! We also went to the beach, but this was the least favorite of DS. Then again, he hated the sand, and he wasn't so sure about the water. LOL So, I say go and do whatever you and DH feel like doing because your DS will have fun regardless.
