I can send my parents down to give your mom some lessons in grandparenting!  DD is really lucky to have all her grandparents be really good.

If my mother doesn't see her for 6-7 days she calls the house to talk to her...not to me.

    B doesn't have that and I really think it sucks for her.

    She has you and your dh.  And I would bet your younger siblings will be fabulous aunts/uncles as they get older.  My two older nephews (18 and 19) are incredible with dd.  They even wear crowns and have tea parties with her.

    I know. Sometimes it just hits me and I'll be over it in minutes.

    You are right though, my sister plays great with her, my little brother not so much but he adores her and my older brother, well he sucks too, he never makes an effort to see her.
