1st birthday help needed

DS bday is a little ways away but I know time will fly so I want to get some ideas on what to do for it. I thought about just doing it at the house but the issue is most of my friends kids are much older than DS (ranging in age from 2 to 13) and I think having it at our house would be boring for the older kids because face it we really arent that exciting. . I wanted to see if anyone had any ideas of places in the Ft Worth area where we might be able to have a party that appealed more to all ages. I am pretty open to doing like Arlington/HEB as well just really not Dallas. I just want it to be as fun as possible for everyone, we still have friends that havent met DS yet.

It will be the last weekend of August so anything outside will be HOT but I have thought of a pool party, there is a really neat city pool close to the house but looking for other options as well.

Pool party sounds fantastic! Before you said it was in August, I was going to say, we just did DD's first B-day at the park. My Dad barbecued, we had music, I made sides and bought a cake. We had outdoor games and the ice cream truck happen to come by towards the end so it was doubly fun!
