Do you wash your *straw* berries with soap?

Someone just emailed this to me, I've never seen the website before so idk how credible it is... (disclaimer, it shows bugs on stawberries, so don't watch before your s-berry smoothie)

I surely don't want to eat bugs, but I'm not interested in washing fruit with soap either... Couldn't you achieve the same thing by soaking the berries and drowning the bugs without the soap? Thats what I've always done with wild blueberries & worms. But I might have just made that up...

    Anyway, no, I don't.  Strawberries, etc. are extremely porous and the soap would soak into the berry.  I'd rather eat bugs than soap.

    No - I don't wash berries with soap.

    As nuts as this is (because I am typically bug phobic), I just rinse with water.  I'd rather eat bugs than chemicals.

    I often use Bio-kleen produce wash, but today, I just used water.  And I'm drinking the smoothie now.  Didn't watch the video.
