How old were you when you first started picking out baby names and what were they?
Me: I was 14 and the girls name was Riley or Nevaeh (i had heard it from my best friends cousin and thought it was so beautiful, now i cant stand the sight of it! haha) The boys name was Colby.
9 years later and those names are definately not on my list anymore.

Re: For Fun--Boards running slow tonight
12ish I decided I would name my son Austin(my maiden name). I had always planned this. DH wouldn't go for it, so it is ds's middle name instead.
Around the same time I fell in love with the Kaylen, Caitlyn, Kayla, Kaley type names. I thought that's what I would do for a girl. They're not on my list now.
I was somewhere in the age of 12-14.
Some of the names I had wanted were:
Happiness Joi (must've been my hippie phase!)
Austin (After my G-pa)
Victoria Elizabeth (I had also wanted to spell Victoria like: Viktorija)
I had at one point alot of Irish names picked out too: Teagan and such.
Ugh! I was 13 or 14 and just starting the rebellious/gothic thing...I only had girls names picked out for some reason (maybe I wanted my name to be one of these):
Starr ()
M'Layne (WTF?!)
Bryar ()
and...
wait for it...
Siouxzy (pronounced Susie -- like the Sioux Native American tribe).
All I can say is WOW
Lordy, I am glad you grew out of that phase! I would have felt pretty bad for poor Siouxzy. Good name, bad spelling! (even if it is after a tribe! That shouldn't be a person's name!)
Probably when I was about 16
No Joke..
Skyleigh Persephone was my number one favorite name. I was really into the Greek Gods.
