Backwards crawling

DS crawls/scootches backwards all the time.  It is so stinkin' cute.  Just wondering if anyone else's babies did that and how long after they started that did it take for them to figure out forwards.

Because of this backwards crawling, though, we have hit a new milestone! Getting into a sitting postion from his tummy!! I turn away for a minute and the next thing I know he is sitting upright with a big smile on his face.

My DD crawls/scoots backwards too. She hasn't really made it forward yet!

It won't be long!  DS did the backwards thing too.  It was like all of the furniture would suck him in and he'd get stuck under his crib or dresser b/c he could only go backwards.

This for us, too!  He got his butt stuck under the recliner and I was a terrible mommy.  I took his picture while he was whinning instead of rescueing him.  (I did that after I got a couple good shots. )

DD crawled backwards for a few weeks before going foward. She would get so frustrated because she would try to go forward but would always end up going backwards. Congrats on getting into sitting position. He'll be full blown crawling before you know it!
