I am a high risk pregnancy and my baby so far only has dilated kidneys but I just found out today that being in hot tubs while pregnant is bad for the baby, in the very beginning of my pregnancy I was in a hot tub at least four times for about twenty to thirty minutes each time, but I got blood done to see if there were any neural tube defects and they all came back negative, do you think I have anything to worry about?
Re: First Baby, High risk
My son was born with dilated kidneys - still has slight dilation in both. Docs are confident they will resolve on their own.
With regard to the hot tub, you can't change it, so try not to worry, it's what my OB said about alcohol before I knew I was pregnant.
