My husband may be OOT for work the morning we end up doing IUI next week so I'm curious if TI would be an option!? Anybody have success with the injectables w/TI??
I haven't but I know some ladies here have. It all really depends on your diagnosis. If you have no MFI and there is no other known reason why an IUI would benefit you (such as lack of CM or something), an IUI isn't really going to be *all* that much more beneficial. Of course it gets the sperm there but if there isn't any reason why the sperm shouldn't be getting there on its own, IUIs don't typically tend to help that much.
This is something we may consider..now that my DH's numbers have improved so much from his surgery, we really aren't dealing with MFI any more. I'd still probably want the IUI for extra insurance but with my DH's schedule and all, I never really know if he'll be here when he needs to for an IUI. Because I do have some Rx coverage, if I did the injects and he wasn't there the morning of the IUI but would be home in time to BD, it may be an option for us.
I got pregnant my second round of injections with TI. My hubby got sperm shy and walked out of the office of out IUI.. but we had BD everyday from trigger to past.. and got lucky to a point it didn't end well.
We're doing TI with injects. Clomid can cause CM problems so IUI is often used with that to bypass the CM. My RE advised that there would be little additional benefit if any to us doing IUI since we don't have MFI.
That said, I'm not pregnant yet and we have a WTF set up for the end of the month to discuss what next steps to take if this cycle is a BFN. My guess is that he's going to rec. IVF but he may try IUI...
It really all depends on your dx, and also your RE's style.
Good luck!

5/10 Break cycle due to BFC (Big Fat Cyst)...darn it all
6/10 Injectable cycle +IUI...BFN
7/10 Injectable cycle + IUI.....BFP!!!
I have not, but I know my clinic does this. You also have the option to freeze the swimmers.
ETA : We never know exactly which morning we will have the procedure until we're pretty close to triggering, so maybe your schedule will work out. I hope so!
Injects + TI is our protocol and it has worked 6 of the 7 times we have done it. We have no MFI, only deal with sucky ovaries and unexplained repeat pregnancy loss. CM is not an issue on injects, which is the main reason clomid + TI has such poor success rates. Not only does TI work, it can work really well. 2 of the times I've been pregnant I had Triplets and Twins.

TI, IUIs, IVF = c/ps and BFNs
