3 week growth spurt??

Please tell that is what this is. DD was going at least 2 hrs between feedings during the day and 3-4 hours at night. Since yesterday she wants to eat between 1-2 hours and woke up to eat every 2 hours last night. She was also very restless and didn't want to sleep. I didn't notice a 7-10 day spurt and this is really hard. On top of this, yesterday I was already tired from a fever from mastitis which I started antibiotics for just over 1 day ago. Would that also have something to do with it?

There is a 3 week growth spurt, according to my LC. Suprised you didn't have a 10-day! DS has already gone through 2 growth spurts, and they are BRUTAL on the nips!!

Oh yes, that is a growth spurt. I felt like I was part of some hazing ritual to be inducted into the national sisterhood of mothers or something. It happens again at 6 weeks, so watch out!

It is brutal!  No sleep, fussy baby, and constant feeding so nips are sore.  It may not have been as bad if mastitis had not showed it's ugly face at the exact same time.
