I can't decide. Re: Double Stroller

I can't decide if I should get a double stroller  I *think* I would use it.  I want to go for walks this summer and all.  I know I could wear LO but I don't think I want to do that all the time.  I'm sure if I put him in the carseat, in the stroller, he'll fall asleep.

I'm not buying a new one....no way.  I found one on craigslist last night.  A Graco one.  I have a Graco carseat.

I think going used is a great idea, especially if you're not sure how much you'll use it. If your main purpose is for walks though, you might want to try and find something a little more lightweight than the Graco Duoglider. I have heard a lot of people say that it's like pushing around a bus, lol.

Just keep an eye on craigslist, I'm sure something will pop up. I've had friends find Phil and Teds, Valcos, Maclarens, etc etc - all for good prices on craigslist

Used is a great way to go however that particular choice is:

a. overpriced

b. bulkier and heavier

c. I personally think Graco strollers suck in terms of quality

 

With your LOs ages, I would def. consider getting a double stroller... there will be many times you will want them confined no matter how well you think they can listen.

I actually received a Graco double stroller as a gift before DS was born and really like it.  Yes, it is heavy but it's a double stroller... what do you expect.  I am able to load it in the back of my SUV with little problem.  It might be an issue to get it in the trunk of a regular car though.  I also have a Graco infant seat to use with it.  I haven't had any issues with it so I would recommend it.
