Has anyone else tried the nookie overkill method?

I'm fixing to have my visit from Aunt Flow, the b&tch is coming, I can feel it. I told DH I'd like to try doing it every other day from day six till I start my period in May. Since I have a 28 day cycle, that means we'll end up having to have sex 11-12 times in a three week period. DH thinks I'm crazy and there is no way we are gonna be able to manage that, and I'm like isn't that what all men want? lol, seriously though, has anyone else ever just tried doing it every other day the whole month, and if you did how did you um, keep it interesting? Am I crazy for wanting to do this?

Yes, we've tried every other day one cycle, every day another.  For us, some days were "interesting" some were just a quickie. 

DH now thinks that we need to try twice a day in order to get pregnant.  He says he will do what he has to, LOL.

Well from around CD 7 - CD 15 we did it every day.  And I'm pregnant! 

We had tried doing that before and it didn't work though.  But I found out I wasn't ovulating (I never got a positive OPK until this past cycle - with a little help from Femara).

We did that and it was harder than I thought it would be.  Sorry in advance if you are really religious, I read in one of my many books that if men watched porn before BD their swimmers were stronger, some alpha male thing in their brains dating back to our cave men ancestors!!  I "made" DH watch porn before we did it for like a week!!!!  It defiantly made it interesting.  ;-)

OMG girl, I've already hit ebay to find some um, entertainment for him (I just can't bring myself to go into a store and buy it). I don't care if he has to watch that stuff everyday if it will keep things going. lol

We tried this...it kinda became a job and we had lots of quickies.  But hey, I'm an old lady and I get tired! lol!

We haven't really tried to consciously do it every other day or everyday, but I think my DH would definitely oblige.  I like the porn idea and that NG show, "Sizing Up Sperm" said the more turned on a man is, the further back in his "junk" he gets semen which has newer sperm, so it totally makes sense what the pp said.  The show also said that you don't want old sperm so at least every 3 days is recommended so he's not giving you a bad batch.  I love how candid we can be on this board.  My DH is travelling for more than a week this cycle, so I told him he has to take care of himself a maximum of 3 days before he gets home so he's ready to deliver the "good stuff" to me .  Blushing a little

We have done it all EOD, ED.. and it ends up that we just start laughing towards the end - so much for romance!  At least DH is a trooper and keeps on going.

We did when we made DS. I was ill around O so I couldn't temp, so we just had lots of sex.

We did this. Sex every-other day from CD 9 or so until CD 26 or so. It was NOT EASY, especially since I was sick part of the time and we were always really tired. Major props to DH for being able to "rise to the occasion."

Good for you if you can do it!  For us, overkill would be like 3 times in one month.  LOL  Good luck to you.  Have you seen The Tudors?  You can stream live on Netflix if you have a gaming console that supports it, or you can just order it.  It's pretty steamy.  I liked Season 1 better than 2, but maybe you won't need Season 2.

Not sure if you ladies have an 'Adam & Eve' store near you...but this is where either (or both - together) of us go to shop for the goods!  Usually the staff is women -- and they are really helpful!
