Need encouragment

DH just left for work and will not be coming home this evening.  He's staying with a buddy tonight and they are leaving for Vegas at 6:40am (the friend lives much closer to the airport).  He will be home Sunday night.  Our LO is 3 weeks old today.  He's so much help and I hate being along anyway.  4 days and 4 nights seems like eternity.  I can do this, right?

My DH is going out of town next week for the first time since LO...a little nervous, but I think we'll be okay.  I'm sure you will too!  :-)

Do you have family or friends that can by during the days to help with stuff or hang out?  That might help.

You can do it... But I must say your a nicer wife than me bc there is no way DH would be going to Vegas for four days right now!!!

You can definitely do it! Just think of all the single moms and military spouses who have to almost, if not, constantly do it on their own. My husband is deployed right now, and he won't be home until Gia is about 6 months old. It might be challenging, but we can all get through it. Just take it one day at a time.

oh boy, I wouldn't have allowed him to go.  We're in negotiations about a vegas trip when Q's almost 3 MONTHS!  You're a better woman than I am

ETA: it's not about being able to do it, it's wanting to and not resenting that he gets all that time away

You can do it...I'm doing it 5 days a week for 16 weeks! And I agree with pp, you must be a saint for letting DH take off when LO is 3 weeks old!

My husband left for Iraq  when Lola was 3 weeks old. You'll adjust.
