I need some way to occupy my 2 yr old son during a 14 hr drive other than DVDs and benadryl (just kidding) (sort of). I'm imagining something that secures to seat of the car or something. Preferably nothing car seat brand/style
specific as i'd like some flexibility for future use. Any insight and/or recs?
TIA

we used this for our 12 hour car trip last summer and it worked out great.

I'm not sure. We have a britax marathon and it fits. We didn't snap it or attach it at all. DS just held on to it himself. I liked it cause it has pockets for all his crayons and toys. So when we stopped to eat we brought the whole thing in with us to the restaurant. It was also nice because we carried it right out to the beach.
We got this one for our long road trip but hardly used them. Even though it straps (which is a pain because in the middle of the trip if they want to put it on or take it off I can't get back there to undo it and trouble starts) it would still slide off their laps. DS can put his feet on the backseat of the car to help hold it up and make a flat surface but no luck for DD. It seemed like more of a hassle then it was worth. We haven't used them since the trip (and like I said we tried a couple times and didn't use them again even on the trip).
