Charlie is a little piggy

I found this hilarious. Charlie has been nursing non-stop since we came home from the hospital. Every 2-3 hours and he acts like he is starving each time. I was kinda worried that he wasn't getting enough to eat because he only nurses for 10-15 minutes and sometimes only from one side. He had regular wet and poopy diapers tho, so I wasn't TOO worried. Anyways, we had the public health nurse stop by our house to check up on Charlie and me. DH mentioned how he thinks Charlie looks bigger already, and she kinda scoffed about that. When we got Charlie weighed at the hospital on Thursday he was 6lb 10oz... And on Tuesday he was 7lb 10oz. He gained 1lb in less than a week! He is gonna be a big boy!

    That is all completely normal.  Babies are supposed to eat every 2 hours for 10 to 15 on each side.  My daughter is 2 months and still eats every 2 hours and gains weight like crazy.  Just wait for a growth spurt when he will want to nurse every hour for for a day or two!

    That sounds like a pretty normal eating schedule, but yeah, nice weight gain!!

    Go Charlie!! My DD went from 8 lbs. 2 oz. at birth to 10 lbs. 5 oz. at her two week check up. :)
