I work with a guy (around 40 years old) with the same name.  He goes by Bill.

That is awful. I used to work with an Adam Adams. He hated it. Try saying that name to a client and have them take you seriously.

I went to school with a Steven Stevens and a Stephen Stephenson! Thankfully they weren't in the same grade at least.

Ugh, I hate that. Growing up I went to school with a kid named Jacob Jacobs. Around middle school he started going by Jake which I guess helped... a little.
